Nikefreestyle 'Snowboard' is a web promotion site
forming a part of ¡®Creativity in Sports¡¯, Asia Pacific
regional brand campaign. Nikefreestyle.co.kr originally
composed of basketball and football opened on October,1
, 2003 and the ¡®Snowboard¡¯ section was added on November,
19, 2003 utilizing the existing design template and
content structure.
The 'Snowboard' section is the only creation by Korean
nikefreestyle for winter season. Reconstituting the
existing site, we tried to design ¡®Snowboard¡¯ section
with new and attractive contents, especially in featured
menus. To produce needed sources, Nike Korea and Postvisual
planned and carried out video filming and photo shooting
in Australia with professional snowboarders, Kim Sungwook,
Lee Changho and Chung Heecheol for 5 days in August
last year. Accompanied with a specialized photographer
and film company, we produced all the materials of good
quality to be used in building ¡®Snowboard¡¯ section.
This is to stimulate users to try and challenge to
new snowboarding tricks. For it, maintaining basic information
architecture, we added 'Dynamic Circle' which provides
consecutive move images and intensive tip lectures and
'3D snowboard game' maximizing the space sense of snowboard.
By reinforcing 'Gear' menu with detailed individual
pop-up pages, we tried to keep balance of sport-featuring
and product promotion.

1) The main theme of nikefreestyle 'Snowboard' is
'Got Moves' inspiring athlete's spirit of challenge. 2)
Provide authentic information and tips on snowboard
verified by professional snowboarders who are members
of Korean national team. 3) Produce a unique intro
movie to promote users to concentrate on 'Snowboard'
section. 4) Add featured menus such as 'Dynamic
Circle', '3D game', and 'Road movie' to help users experience
and enjoy the real freestyle of snowboarding. 5)
Look and feel must show the campaign theme. 6) Induce
users to take part of snowboard online events by updating
attractive events regularly.
